The BBC got complaints about this scene.
But they also got complaints when Eleven said “oh not ginger again” or something after regenerating. People thought they were being anti-redhead and I guess forgot that the Doctor not being ginger is a running theme.
I am forced to conclude some folks just complain to the BBC for anything.
